  • Project text

The ‘Indemann’ watchtower is an iconic landmark, representing the ‘Rheinisches Revier’ lignite region and the industrialization associated with it. The giant pointing to the future is made entirely of steel. It heralds a new era when the quarries fill up with water and large lakes form around this lookout.
